NDC, PNC Hold ‘Aagbe Wo’ Demo


The leadership of the Inter party-Coalition for National Sovereignty has settled on 7th February to embark on a demonstration dubbed ‘Aagbe wo’ Demonstration.

The demonstration according to a statement signed by Mr. Bernard Mornah, convener of the group is to register their displeasure about the act of violence that characterised the 31st January 2019 Ayawaso West Wuogon By-election and the growing atmosphere of insecurity in the country.

The demonstration which starts at 6:00am in the morning will begin at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Obra Spot and will be taking through Farrisco Traffic Light, UTC, High street, Ministry of Interior, Police Headquarters and end at the Jubilee House.According to Mr. Bernard Mornah, the conveners have written to the police and the said date is an agreed date between the police and the group.

The group which is being led by the leadership of the opposition National Democratic Congress and the People’s National Convention have assured the general public and the police of “a very peaceful and non-violent demonstration.”
