Brief Profile

Born on the 31st of December 1979, Issaka Siedu Yakubu Polibu schooled in Accra at the Independence Avenue Basic School. He continued to the Wa Secondary School from 1996 to 1998 where he obtained the SSSCE certificate and also selflessly served as the SRC president. He obtained a Higher National Diploma certificate from Sunyani Polytechnic . Later he was awarded his first degree from the University of Professional Studies. Polibu also studied LLB (law) at the Mount Crest University and is due to complete at the Ghana School of Law, Makola. He is currently studying for a Masters degree in Insurance at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
He hail from Wa Dondoli in the Upper West Region.

Siedu Yakubu Polibu’s political journey started as an active member of TESCON at all levels of his education. He demonstrated selfless and committed leadership when he served as the constituency secretary for Ayawaso North. For the love of his party, he has supported some parliamentary candidate of the region most especially the WA central parliamentary candidate with logistics and offered his time and energy to the service of the New Patriotic Party. He has adopted the Dondoli office of the party as the patron. He is humble, affable and generous. He is joining the race of the NPP parliamentary primaries in the Wa Central Constituency and would most likely pull a surprise to become the parliamentary candidate of the elephant family in the 2020 parliamentary elections.
