The US embassy in Ghana has debunked news going round that the country is now visa free for some Ghanains.
A story that went viral on social media in the early hours of Saturday suggested that Ghanaians without criminal records can travel to the US without any need for a visa.
The story stated that such people has the right to stay in the US for 30days.
However, in a Facebook post, the US Embassy stated that, there is no iota of truth in the said report.
The embassy further directed people who want information about visa applications to ‘visit our website at gh.usembassy.gov/visas/’.
