The red carpet of the Vodafone Ghnana Music Awards (VGMA) is one of the many activities held before the Prestigious awards itself.
Over the years, big names in the entertainment industry turn up on the red carpet to talk about their expectations for the event.
The red carpet has also become an Avenue where people use to showcase their fashion sense.
As it is the case every year, VGMA 2018 AWARDS NIGHT saw celebrities donning different kinds of outfits; some gorgeous, classic and others funny for the red carpet.
Entertainers such as D. Black, Efya, Stonebwoy, King Promise, Kwame Eugene, Kidi and others were all on the red carpet clothed in their best designed outfits.
Unlike 2017, where some celebrities dressed “to kill” including Benedicta Gafa’s “See Me Through”- which became the talk of the day, most celebrities were in simple wear for the night.
However, at the end of the show, Agona Swedru based “scopatumana” boss, Patapaa Amisty’s “over-sized” blue suit and Ahoufe Patri’s “Nightgown” thrilled fans and became talk of the week after the Awards Night.
Many described the two as the worse dressed for the night.
2018 Red carpet
Johnnie Hughes, multiple award-winning radio and television personality, hosted Ghana’s biggest musical awards night; VGMA 2018 Red Carpet. Later in the evening, A.J Sarpong of Citi FM joined him to add some color to the beautiful prelude to the main event.
Meanwhile, the main show was hosted by Berla Mundi of GHONE TV and the seasonal Actor, John Dumelo.
VGMA 2019
VGMA 2019 AWARDS NIGHT comes off tonight as fans and fashionistas are anticipating the celebrities who are going to be the talk of the day with “funniest” outfits on the red carpet.
