The distribution of the Maths Set is part of the organisations’ One Student One Math Set project. The project is aimed at making sure all JHS students in the deprived communities in the Krobo Land area and beyond have Maths Sets before their BECE.
The four schools are current to benefit from the project after several other schools have already benefited from such gesture.
The beneficiary schools were Dawa Kolewa D/A JHS, Apimsu Presby JHS, Anyaboni R/C JHS and Agajajeter D/A JHS.
The team from Leyla Images used the opportunity to inspire the students from all the beneficiary schools to take their studies serious. The CEO of the NGO, Tetteh Emmanuel Kwesi intimated that there are a lot of individuals and organisations like team LEYLA Images who are ready and willing to help pupils of deprived schools but added that the pupils must work hard to deserve such kind gesture from such good hearted citizens.
Mr. Tetteh popularly known as KINGLEYLA also called on all good meaning citizens of the Republic of Ghana to play their active role in the development of the country and stop complaining about every situation. He stated that the people must ask what they can also do to help themselves and others rather than always waiting and depending on government adding that governance involves us all.
