Some 78 people living with various forms of disabilities in the Asene Manso Akroso district have been given different types of support by the district Assembly to help them improve their standards of living.
The beneficiaries received cash and various items such as fridges, cold boxes, sewing machines, napsack sprayers among others.
This is the first time PWDs in the District have received such benefits since the District was created.
The DCE for the area, Hon Alex Inkoom appealed to the beneficiaries to make good use of the items to improve their living condition.
