BIG BROTHER NAIJA: Tuoyo Says Goodbye

By: Ekow Boakye

After his birthday the previous night, Tuoyo, bade farewell to his fellow housemates on last Sunday’s eviction show.

Tuoyo, 24, who started off as the ‘silent guy’ earlier in the season, later warmed up to Diane whom he had shown romantic interest. He got along with his ‘guys’ Sir Dee and Gedoni as well.

“I won’t like to see Tuoyo go on Sunday,” fellow housemate Khafi confessed to Big Brother in a diary session. “I like the ways he dances at parties.”

Housemates Jeff, Jackie, Gedoni, Seyi and Frodd put him up for eviction last Monday of which he was stunned by, especially Frodd’s.

The ‘Part-time stripper’ was popular among viewers for his Saturday night topless dance moves at the weekly house parties was up for eviction with Frodd, Mike, Seyi and Tacha.

Fake evictions, secret room.

Two seasons ago on Big Brother Naija- See Gobbe, housemates Bisola and Bally were fake evicted to a secret room beyond the arena. The duo were treated with foods of their choice and a screen monitoring their housemates.

This season, Big Brother has done same for Tacha and Seyi, the top two on the voting list. Big Brother may be up to something here, to allow one of the loudest and the resident talkative to share the secret room which demands silence to stay secret?

Seyi and Tacha were evicted by show host Ebuka, and asked to leave the house, only to be taken into the secret room wish instructions on speaking only in low tones

In the house

The 14 remaining housemates, as usual were shaken by three evictions they had witnessed. It came as a surprise to many that the self-confident Tacha, did not amass that much votes from her army of fans to save her.

“I know Tacha is confident about her strong fan base,” Mike told Big Brother in the diary room the Monday before. “So, I’ll keep nominating her and she’ll be there the following week.”

Frodd, feeling confident in his fans, lounged silently in the garden most of the night.

After some hours of attending to house activities, Big Brother called housemates to the lounge to commence the Veto Power Game by housemates randomly picking items from a Ninja. The head of house, Esther was given an envelope to announce the item which was to determine the Veto Power Holder. Khafi, who had the item and was awarded with 100 bet Naija coins.
