Dailymailgh.com exclusively revealed on Wednesday that Ayew had already arrived in South London awaiting his medicals for the move to the Eagles.

The versatile forward completed his medicals at a private hospital in Selhurst on Thursday and has appended his signature to the deal.

“I am very happy [to have returned]. I really enjoyed myself last season.

“I enjoyed the stadium, the fans, the boys – they were really good to me – everything here was positive and that’s why I decided to continue with Crystal Palace,” Ayew said after signing the contract.
