NDC Dominance in Afram Plains over- NPP Aspiring Parliamentary Candidate


Jacob Zineyele, the Presiding Member for Afram Plains South District Assembly in the Eastern Region, who is vying to become the Parliamentary candidate on the ticket of the ruling NPP has stated that he will win the Parliamentary seat for the party when given the nod in the upcoming Parliamentary Primaries.

According to him, as a native of the area, he knows a barrage of challenges confronting the residents of Afram Plains South and has promised to help solve them when voted to power.

Zineyele who was address the media after passing through the Vetting process held in Koforidua explained that having noted farming as the major occupation in the area, he will do his best to provide the needs of the farmers to help raise the standard of farming in the constituency.

He said that, despite the National Democratic Congress (NDC) dominance in the area since 1992, he believes the time has come for the people to change their mindset and has urged his people to vote the NDC out of power if they really need change.

“It is time for the electorates to change their mentality and vote for me. I’m a native and so I know the problems they are facing. I want to change the face of Afram Plains South and bring a better life to the people” he said.

He has therefore urged the delegates to vote for him as he believes he is the right man to lead the area and has promised to work tirelessly to improve upon their lives.
