NDC Corruption Tag on Akufo-Addo won’t stick – Jeff Konadu

The Eastern Regional Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jeff Konadu Addo, has jabbed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) over its deliberate attempt to tag the president with unsubstantiated allegations of corruption.

NDC is using well orchestrated lies and propaganda to tarnish the image of the president and its government, Mr. Konadu Addo said and urged the party to desist.

“I want to tell members of the NDC especially Sammy Gyamfi (NDC National Communication Officer) and co to take their time when it comes to politics. All available records point to the fact that the corruption tag is on the NDC and no amount of propaganda will wash it from them, let alone to be stacked with the president.” he said.

He maintained that, the attempt to tag the NPP with corruption will not materialize since the president and the members of the NPP are not corrupt.

Mr. Konadu said Ghanaians know the NPP for life changing policies such as Free SHS, One District One Factory, One Constituency, One ambulance among others. “No amount of deliberate lies and propaganda to tag the government with corruption will work.” He said
