Akufo-Addo’s security capo supports two districts with over GHC230000 worth of PPEs


Captain (rtd) Edmund Kojo Koda, the security aide to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has presented over GHC230,000 worth of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to the Asene Manso Akroso District Directorate of Ghana Health Service and chiefs and people of Akyem Abenaso in the Kwaebibirim Municipality. The items included Veronica buckets, hand gloves, sanitizers, overall jackets, boots, goggles and disinfectants.
About GHC200,000 worth of items, co-funded by Captain (rtd) Koda, the MP for the area, George Kwame Aboagye, and the District Chief Executive, Alexander Incoom, were presented to the Asene Manso Akroso district on April 7 while about GHC30,000 worth of items, solely funded by the president’s security capo, were presented to Abenaso in the Kwaebibirem Municipality on April 11, 2020.

Precautionary measures

Delivering the items on behalf of Captain Koda, DCE for Asene-Manso-Akroso, Alex Incoom, emphasized that the items form part of Captain Koda’s contributions towards the fight against the deadly coronavirus pandemic.
He urged the people to adhere to all the precautionary measures given by the World Health Organisation and the Ghana Health Service by ensuring social distancing, washing hands regularly, using alcohol based hand sanitizers among others.
He advised the people that the government will do everything possible to protect their lives adding that they should also do their part in protecting themselves.
