NPP Staunch Queens, an all ladies group within the governing New Patriotic Party has, over the weekend, launched another chapter in the Nsawam/Adoagyiri Constituency of the Eastern Region.
The launch was attended by some big wigs in the NPP including the party’s regional women organiser, Hajia Fati Vondolie.
Speaking at the launch, Hajia Fati Vondolie urged members of the group to work hard to ensure a second term victory for the party.
She noted that the women’s wing is targeting 84 per cent of the women’s vote in the region and advised the ladies to join forces with their constituency women’s wing to make the dream a reality.
Second term victory a must
Nsawam/Adoagyiri Commander of the group, Yvonne Opoku, stated that the NPP cannot afford to lose the 2020 general elections since there are a lot of good works commenced by the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government which needs to be sustained.
She noted that the group will do it best to ensure that the second term dream of the party is achieved.
She advised members of the group to eschew excuses when they are called on to work for the party saying the last few days to the general election cannot be toiled with.
