Akufo-Addo hands over 10K hospital beds to MoH today

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will today commission and handover 10,000 hospital beds of various specifications for specific needs to the Ministry of Health (MoH) for onward distribution to hospitals across the country.

The ceremony would be held at the Airforce Base Warehouse, Burma Camp this afternoon.
These beds were procured by the Ministry of Special Development Initiatives, in collaboration with the MoH and Ghana Health Service, under the Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication Programme (IPED).

This initiative is another achievement of government which is aimed at improving healthcare delivery in hospitals in Ghana under the leadership of the President Nana Akufo-Addo.

The beds were funded from the equivalent of the $1 million per Constituency allocation under the IPEP
