The Greater Accra Bowling Club (Pioneers) has lauded Charles Obeng Amofa on his appointment as the Spokesperson for the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
In a congratulatory message signed by Kwame Baa Mensa, an Executive Member of the Greater Accra Bowling Club(Pioneers), he expressed the belief of the club that the appointment is a recognition of Mr Amofa’s hardwork, dedication and service to Ghana and the general development and promotion of sports in the country.
Until his appointment, Mr Amofa was the Public Relations Officer of the National Sports Authority (NSA).
A letter from the Ministry said, “the Ministry of Youth and Sports presents its compliments to the Director General of National Sports Authority and wishes to inform you that Hon. Minister has given Mr Charles Amofa, the Public Relations Officer, an additional responsibility as a spokesperson to the Ministry.
“By a copy of this letter, Mr Charles Amofa is being informed of the additional responsibility given by the Minister whiles holding himself in readiness for the assignment,” the letter indicated.
