Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia has stated that he remains focused on helping President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to realise his vision to transform Ghana, and will not do anything that will undermine the President.
He has thus denied knowledge of campaign posters endorsing him to run as the 2024 flagbearer of the governing NPP.
In a statement issued yesterday, the Vice-President’s Office said the posters, and other associated activities, are without the consent of the Vice-President.
Dr Bawumia urged the rank and file of the party to be in line and push towards the same direction with the President, rather than wasting energy on who succeeds the President at this critical moment.
