
The Muslim community at Agormanya in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality observed the Eid prayers in the early hours of Sunday at Aklomuase Park.
The prayers was led by the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Chief Imam, Yunusa Issah as he continued to wished his fellow Muslims and others from different fates who gathered to pray with them.
The Municipal Chief Imam prayed for the President of the Republic of Ghana, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and all his Ministers as well as both the traditional, Religious, Political and Administrative leadership of the Krobo Land.
Hon. Boakye Agyarko led a high powered delegation from the NPP Fraternity in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality to pray with the Muslim community in Agormanya.
He was accompanied by Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for Lower Manya, Mrs. Linda Korkor-Tsu Adadivor and some officers from the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly.
Hon. Boakye Agyarko in his speech after the prayers wished the entire gathering a happy Eid ul-Adha as he entreated the Muslim community to practice peaceful coexistence since that’s the only way to see development in the Muslim communities and the entire country at Large.
He continued to donate undisclosed amount of Money and a big ram to the Muslim community for the Sacrifice feast as he wished them well.
The leadership of the Muslim community in Agormanya used the opportunity to appeal to Hon. Boakye Agyarko to use his influence in the Krobo Land area and beyond to unite the separated Muslim community in Agormanya since Unity is strength.
Hon. Boakye Agyarko accepted the request as he assured them of his maximum commitment to this all important request which will bring unity
in the Muslim communities.
