President Akufo-Addo has accepted the resignation of the Special Prosecutor, Mr Martin B. K. A. Amidu. This was made known in two separate letters released respectively by the Chief of Staff, Hon. Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, and the Director of Communoications at the Jubilee House, Mr Eugen Arhin.
The President has taken notice of the various concerns raised by Mr Amidu whiles directing the Chief of Staff to ensure that all emoluments and benefits due him under law are paid accordingly.
President Akufo-Addo expressed his appreciation to Mr Amidu for the services rendered the state and wished him well in his future endeavours.
