The Kontihene of Akyem Kotoku traditional area, Obrempong Gyamfi Saforo Kyere II has called on Ghanaians to vote against “lazy Assembly members who do not contribute to the developmental projects in their  electoral area.”

He said, most Assembly members just prefer to be called “Honourable” and yet do not undertake any developmental projects in their electoral areas to benefit the electorate who voted for them.

Obrempong Saforo Kyere made the pronouncement during the launch of “Community Health Trail – 2019” organised by the Community Hospitals in collaboration with Alexander Akwasi Acquah (AAA) foundation at Akim Oda.

The hospital and the foundation as part of the ‘Community health Trail’ will deliver free health care to people living in the various electoral areas  in the Akyem Oda Constituency of the eastern region.

Obrempong congratulated the Chief Executive Officer of the Community hospital for the yeoman’s job he is doing for the various communities.

Mr. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, the CEO of community hospitals in Ghana on his part told the media  that his reason for the free health care delivery for the constituency is to make sure the people are healthy.

He appealed to the Assembly members to assist him in the program.
