Mr Richard Ahiagbah, a member of the National Communication Team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has been appointed as the Acting
Executive Director of the pro-government policy Tink Tank, Danquah Institute(DI).
Mr. Ahiagbah takes over from Mr Edward
Kwaku Asomani, the Executive Director of the Institute, who is leaving the Institute, first, on a
sabbatical, effective today, 21st October.
A statement signed by Mansa Williams Esq, Secretary to the Board of DI and copied to the Eveningmailgh.com said “Mr Richard Ahiagbah, on the recommendation of the Board, has been appointed Acting Executive Director”.

Mr. Richard Ahiagbah comes to the role with a rich experience. He has a track record in policy research, legislative lobbying and regulatory reform. Also significant is his experience in electoral research and campaign strategy.
In 2012, Mr. Ahiagbah was a field organiser for President Barack Obama’s re-election
campaign, a role he has performed on other senatorial and gubernatorial elections in the
United States.
Prior to this appointment, he worked at the Fiscal Policy Centre and also as a Legislative Liaison for Oneok Hydrocarbons in the United States.
He is an alumnus of the West London College, Illinois Central College, Illinois State University and the University of Illinois.
He is a native of Aflao and is married with one daughter.
