The COOPERATION ATTACHEE FOR FRENCH at the French Embassy, Madam Julie Fournier-Angelo has intimated the need for individuals to take ones language serious.
According to her when one is able to speak a specific language and communicate same with it, you speak directly into the persons heart and mind and so its very imparative to get more abreast of a specific language like the French Language.
Speaking at a ceremony dubbed Festival la France au Ghana to wit France in Ghana on the theme:Projecting French projects through French Language and Culture in Bonwire in the Ejisu Juaben Municipality of the Ashanti Region organized by Le club Francais and CAGEF Wednesday,20th March 2019, Mrs Angelo lauded the gains Ghanaian’s have made over the years trying to adapt the French language.
She added the Government of Ghana needs to be recommended for signing a linguist pact with the IOF to get our Schools communicate basically with French.
On his part Nana Boachie Duah President of Collective of Association of Ghanaian’s in France (CAGEF) averred that the French language is a very important one which as Ghanaian’s we adapt so well will add to our positive gains achieved over the years.
He added, the Ghanaian community in France are so happy that Le Club Francais has started mobilizing young ones to train them with the French Language and pledged support to the club.
On her part the president of the French club,Ms Achiaa Sakina a student of Juaben Senior High School expressed that,the club is ever ready to do all it can to introduce the French Language into children of school going age.
She further called for support from all to support this all important initiative….since Ghana is surrounded by French speaking countries so to ease trade and to improve our already existed relationship.
She thanked the French Embassy in Ghana for the support so far.
Present at the ceremony were the Director of Alliance Francais, Chief of Bonwire and some students.
