The Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP) Mr. John Kumah has advised startup companies in Ghana to embrace organizations that provide startup fundings for their businesses.
Mr. John Kumah was speaking as the guest speaker at the launch of the first private formal angel investor company in Ghana on Wednesday, May 8, 2019.
According to Mr. Kumah, Quick Angels are funding startups in Ghana to grow not with loanable funds but equity taking interest adding that “they also bring on board their expertise, connections, networking, and logistics to ensure that start-up thrives and succeed”
The NEIP CEO commended the CEO of Quick Angels, Mr. Richard Nii Quaye, and staff of quick Angels for their foresight and contributions in filling a gap in finance for startups in Ghana.He also appealed to Ghanaian start-ups to take advantage of the opportunities offered by Quick Angels.
