Ms Gyamfua (left) receives citation from the regional Women's wing

The National Women Organiser of the governing New Patriotic Party, Kate Gyamfua, last week paid a working visit to the Northern Region where she took the opportunity to interact with the various constituency women organisers, their deputies and TESCON Women Commissioners on the need to work together to ensure the party’s victory in the upcoming general election. She indicated that the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government has made significant achievement since inception of power which has impacted positively on the lives of Ghanaians. She, thus, urged the women to be ready to work hard to maintain the party in power in order not for the successes chalked by the government to be eroded.

Ms Gyamfua further called on the women to involve themselves in the party’s preparation towards the upcoming voters’ registration exercise slated for June 30.

Regional Women organizer of the party, Hajia Rahana Abdul Aziz, used the opportunity to outline some challenges facing the party in the area.

Ms Gyamfua promised to take up their challenges on board and find lasting solution to them.

The NPP Women Organiser then made some donation to the Tamale Central Hospital to help them fight the spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

She entreated staff and patients of the hospital to adhere to all safety protocols outlined by the health experts to protect themselves from the deadly pandemic.

She also made donations to the party’s women’s wing in the region and the various constituency women organisers to aid them in their activities.
