Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, Education Minister with Harvey Jay Mason Jnr

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Grammy Awards, Harvey Jay Mason Jnr, has pledged to support the Creative Arts Senior High School (CASHS) at Kwadaso to become a top-notch Creative Arts training institution in Africa and beyond.

He explained that the institution, which is strategically located, would be assisted to become a Creative Arts skills hunting and development centre for the country, Africa and the rest of the world.

Harvey Mason made the pledge when he paid a courtesy call on the Education Minister, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, on Monday.

Commendation

The CEO eulogized Dr Adutwum and the government for the effort being made to help transform the nation’s economy through education.

He also lauded the Education Minister for his role in establishing the Creative Arts School to help get the best talents in the creative arts sector in the country and the African continent.

He stressed the need for the pool of talents in Africa to be tapped and harnessed to the rest of the world for the development of the various facets of the world.

Appreciation

Responding, the Education Minister praised him for choosing to visit Ghana and his desire to support the development of the Creative Arts industry in the country.

He assured him of his preparedness to collaborate with him and other partners to get the best support for the nation.

Dr Yaw Adutwum further declared his readiness to partner the Grammy Institution towards building a strong curriculum for the CASHS at Kwadaso.

“We are trying our possible best to change the old paradigm and the state of education in the country and other initiatives which affected the nation’s development agenda,” he added.

He also assured the CEO of his Ministry’s readiness to meet with the institution any time to collaborate.
