The Eastern Regional Minister, Eric Kwakye Darfour, has praised the region’s Municipal and District Chief Executives for the good work they are doing to promote local development.
The Minister praised the MDCES for their swift continuation and completion of incomplete projects the present government inherited from the previous administration.
Mr Darfour was speaking during the commissioning of four projects in Birim North District: a six-unit classroom block at Asawase, a Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound in Old Abirem, 32 lockable stores in New Abirem and a police post in Noyem.
Each of the projects, which were inherited from the Mahama government, was either incomplete or yet to have work started on it.
