Over 9000 personnel under the Nations Builders Corp (NABCO) have secured permanent appointments into different government agencies since the commencement of the programme late last year. This is according to the National Coordinator of the program, Dr. Ibrahim Anyars.

According to Dr. Anyars, management of the programme are hoping that by the end of their 3 years contract all trainees may have secured permanent employment which will be a great achievement and a success story of the initiative.

 

Some key institutions that have employed some of the trainees are the Ghana Education Service, the Ghana Health Service, the Local and Civil Service and the Forestry Commission.

 

Dr. Anyars made this known during a visit to the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region.

The Chief Executive officer of NABCO, as part of his working visit to the Eastern Region on Tuesday 25th June, 2019 visited the Yilo Krobo Municipal Assembly where he met with NABCO personnel from 3 MMDA’S.

The NABCO personnel representatives from Lower Manya Krobo Municipality and Asuogyaman District joined their colleagues from Yilo Krobo Municipality to welcome their CEO.

Hon. Ebenezer Tetteh Kupualor, MCE for Yilo Krobo Municipality was very happy as he expressed his heart felt appreciation to the CEO of NABCO for choosing his Municipality for this all important meeting with the personnel of this important national initiative which is aim at tackling the graduate unemployment issues in the country.

The Municipal Chief executive for the Lower Manya Krobo, Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh joined his colleague, the Hon. MCE for Yilo Krobo as they hosted this the NABCO boss.

Dr. Ibrahim Anyars in his address expressed his satisfaction of reports he had been receiving regarding the programme from the Krobo Land area as he challenged the personnel to live to expection of the name given to the programme which is ‘Nation Builders’ to help build a better Ghana.

He concluded by saying they must be rest assured that as the Pending and Posting issues under the programme has been resolve and soon the payment issues will be over for good.
