THE Eastern Regional Chapter of the Loyal Ladies – a volunteer group under the youth wing of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) – has begun a community based campaign towards the upcoming 2020 general elections.
The group is currently embarking on house to house, and what they term ‘evidenced-based’ campaign within the Akuapem North Municipal Assembly.
The group are using Newspaper publication as the reference to point to the electorates the achievement of the NPP government so far.
The 20-page newspaper dubbed “Akuapem North Municipality News” showcases numerous projects constructed and currently ongoing in the municipality from January 2017 to January 2019.
It showcases the projects done by the Akufo-Addo led government in the area.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Dennis Miracles Aboagye who launched the newspaper last month said the paper summarises the projects in the municipality on the front page, and also details them in the inside pages.
The newspaper also has included sectors and locations in the municipality for various investment opportunities including for real estate, tourism sites, events center, health spa, golf course, educational institutions, agricultural activities, and sports center among others.
