The Deputy National Youth Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Ms. Perpetual Lomokie Akwada, has scored the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led government 100% for his ‘miraculous performance’ in two years.

According to the NPP Deputy Youth Commander, the changing of the economy in two years and the many achievements of the party signals the biblical allusion that ‘Jesus Christ is still in the miracle business.”

Ms. Akwada was speaking with The Evening Mail on the sidelines of a workshop organised by the Eastern Regional Branch of the Loyal ladies.

Youth at Heart

Outlining some of the achievement of the government, Ms. Akwada applauded the government for having the youth at heart.

She said that so far, no government in the history of the country has performed such miracles specifically targeted at the youth like the NPP government .

She expressed the youth wing’s happiness and gratitude to the government for its youth oriented policies.

 

Congratulations

Ms. Akwada who was the president of the loyal ladies before her elevation as the Deputy Youth Organiser congratulated the loyal ladies for their continuous effort in helping the party to maintain power in 2020.

Fire Blazing

On her part, Ms. Agyare Abigail Owusua, the Eastern Region captain of the loyal ladies debunked assertion that the loyal ladies ‘have been used and dumped’ and hence ‘their fire is quenched.’

She stated that the ‘girl power fire’ in the group is still blazing and they are ready to do more than they did in 2016 as the party prepares towards the 2020 general election.

No Rivalry

Meanwhile the Eastern Regional Women organiser of the NPP Hajia Fati Vondoli has stated that there is no rivalry between the women’s wing and the loyal ladies. She stated that members of the loyal ladies are ‘children’ of the various women organisers and they will continue to work hand in hand together as the party prepares towards 2020.
