John Kumah Calls On Ghanaians In the Diaspora

The charismatic chief executive officer of the national entrepreneurship and innovative plan (NEIP), lawyer John Kumah has called on Ghanaians in the diaspora to come home for the Year of Return which has attracted international publicity and explore the huge benefits in the country’s intrepreneural ecosystem.

He made this called when he attended the Ghanaian dream event organized in Amsterdam.

As part of his remarks,he spoke about the vision of his excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo on Ghana beyond Aid, and invited the Diaspora to come back to Ghana and play their role to achieving the dream.

The NEIP CEO said “I am using this opportunity to invite Ghanaians in the Diaspora to participate in the year of Return and the readiness of the office of Diaspora affairs to welcome them”.

Touching on Africa continental free trade agreement (AFCFTA), He outlined a number of opportunities for investment in Ghana, and the huge the market potential offered by the continental free trade area agreement, with Ghana as the hub.

The aspiring Ejisu legislator also emphasized on the responsibility of the citizens to be honest and diligent in pushing the mind change for a Ghana beyond aid, especially in the payments of taxes for national development.

Ghana beyond aid also invites the private sector to lead the economic sectors of the country, and government is supporting the private sector through Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

Lawyer John Kumah also spoke highly about the national entrepreneurship and innovation programme and the $100 million facility to support startup businesses and SMEs in Ghana and the job NEIP have done so far.

“Together we can work to achieve a Ghana beyond aid with equal opportunities and prosperity for all citizens” Lawyer John Kuma concluded
