Management of the University of Education, Winneba has, in a Press Release dated 24 July, 2019 and signed by the Registrar of the University, dispelled mischievous reports of a change of Vice-Chancellor circulating in mainstream media and social media, and further emphasizes that Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni is still at post as the Vice-Chancellor.

Management further assures the general public, students, staff, alumni and all other stakeholders that the University premises are opened, safe and secured for normal business.
