
Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman
Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang as the Vice Presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) would influence votes for the party, according to results of the third wave of the Ghana Election Poll which run from August 1 to September 31, 2020.
Out of the 2,246 respondents, a significant 75% of Ghanaian adults believe that her choice is a good one and they would consider voting for the party. Ten percent (10%) of the respondents who believe she is a good choice, however, do not intend voting for the party. The rest are not moved by her candidacy.
The selection of Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang seems to appeal to some sections of the political divide. Almost all respondents who are NDC/Lean NDC welcome it as a good choice, and 45% of those who are NPP/Lean NPP welcome it as a good choice and would consider voting for the party.
A significant 78% of Ghanaians who consider themselves as floating voters believe that it is a good choice and they would consider voting for the party.
