, hereby issue this formal retraction and unreserved apology in respect of our publication dated October 1, 2025, titled “Tensions Rise at KATH as Nurses Plan Protest Over Alleged Appointment of Unqualified NDC Activist.”
We acknowledge that aspects of the said publication contained information which, upon subsequent verification, were found to be inaccurate and misleading. In particular, the publication made references that adversely affected the reputation of Ms. Comfort Asogli of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), as well as the Board, management, and staff of the hospital.
We deeply regret any harm, distress, or reputational damage caused to Ms. Asogli, the KATH Board, management, staff, and any other persons or institutions inadvertently affected by the publication. The story has since been retracted and permanently removed from our website.
This retraction and apology are issued in good faith, without prejudice, and in accordance with the highest standards of journalistic ethics and responsibility.
