Ghanaian High-life and Afro Pop singer, King Promise has duly acknowledged the role Sarkodie has played in his career and he’s gushing it all out in interview with Ghanaian blogger, Kobby Kyei.
The artiste who sports a clean-shaven head, said it was Sarkodie who introduced him to all the BIG GUYS in the music industry and gave him the template that will make him succeed on his own.
The hitmaker recounted how he bumped into Sarkodie on the streets whiles working on a song in a studio. Even after loosing touch with him thereafter after their first meeting, it was still Sarkodie who after seeing King Promise walking on the street approached him, took him in his car and made clear the path for him on his journey to stardom.
King Promise, born Gregory Promise Bortey Newman is one of the A-list artistes in Ghana currently with several hits to his credit within his relatively short stint in the industry.
