Today, June 16, is a Good Friday, because Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President of Ghana, has filed his nomination to contest for the NPP presidential primaries. NPP delegates and supporters in the diaspora have dubbed today as Good Friday because H.E. Bawumia has finally made it official to put to an end the anxieties of whether Bawumia will contest or not.
Indeed, it is a big sigh of relief to experience such an industrious son of the land officially begin the journey to become the president. Indeed, it is Good Friday, and the Diaspora4DMB congratulates H.E. Dr. Bawumia.
On this Good Friday, the many Bawumia supporters who promised him at the recent NPP International Women’s Conference in UK to fly to Accra to be part of his nomination filing, touched down in Accra to be part of the history. It was a scene to behold.
The possibility of breaking the eight vibrated through the walls of the party office. The mood at the national headquarters was ecstatic. Bawumia’s stardom and humility is a complete contradictory characteristic of the man. The moment of filing the nomination was simply glorious and unique.
Diaspora supporters who made the trip to witness this occasion say their sacrifice for the trip is worth the experience of witnessing Bawumia make history. Diaspora4DMB congratulates H.E. Bawumia.
Disapora4DMB is now more empowered to intensify our campaign for Bawumia. The party and non-party supporters of Bawumia domiciled outside Ghana are more determined than ever to pull resources together to support the Bawumia campaign reach out to all delegates and every Ghanaian voter.
It is possible to send the good news to every nook and cranny. It is possible to help Bawumia sell the NPP message to the floating voters and even opposition members. It is possible to break the eight. It is possible to win the 2024 general presidential and parliamentary elections with Dr Bawumia. It is possible to swear Bawumia in as the president of Ghana on January 7, 2025. It is possible to see the beautiful couple, Bawumia and Samira grace occasions as the first gentleman and first lady in 2025 and beyond.
