The Governing Council of the University of Education, Winneba will on Friday March 15 address the media on issues going on in the school.
UEW has been in the news lately for wide range of issues including financial malfesance, sacking of lecturers, students agitations among others.
There has been calls on the University’s Vice Chancellor Rev. Prof. Afful-Bruni to resign from his position .
The auditor General and the office of the special prosecutor are set to investigate the allegations of the financial malfeasance following a petition sent to them by some concerned alumni of the school.
In a statement signed by the school’s registrar, he indicated that the press conference is holding the press conference to
respond to all the issues concerning the University that have gained attention in the media in the last few days.

The Governing Council of the University of Education, Winneba wishes to inform all media houses and the general public that it will hold a Press Conference on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 1:00p.m. to respond to all the issues concerning the University that have gained attention in the media in the last few days.
The venue for the Press Conference is the Council Chamber. We take this opportunity to invite all media houses to the event.
