There was a heated debate in Parliament between the ruling party, NPP and the opposition NDC, concerning funding of the free SHS with oil revenue.

Based on our analysis, the ruling NPP has made a very bold decision such that the free SHS, despite its numerous challenges, has given both the rich and the poor an equal opportunity to enjoy Secondary Education.

Although, infrastructural development is what the accrued oil money should be used for, but funding Ghanaian students education from that same source is also prudent.
Let’s not forget that the crude oil is a national asset and should be used efficiently as such.

Some few cautions to the ruling government are that;

1. They must make sure it is sustainable.
2. No person, irrespective of his/her status, should be allowed to take a dime from that source for personal use.
3. The President H.E Nana Addo Dankwa must check his ministers and make changes where necessary.

I am a citizen not a spectator.

#Ghana is not poor but, we need ATTITUDINAL change to build Ghana now!.
