The group says the President and the governing New Patriotic Party have done very well within the their first term in government, proving that they deserve another four more years to protect, preserve and continue the good works they have started.
“It would be unfair, suicidal and a travesty of justice if Ghanaians fail to vote for President Akufo-Addo and NPP parliamentary candidates in the 7th December 2020 general elections,” the group said.
“A vote against Akufo-Addo and NPP parliamentary candidates…will be against the Free SHS policy, Planting for Food and Jobs, NABCO, free water, free electricity, 307 ambulances, stable supply of electricity (no dumsor), 1 Village 1 Dam, creation of six new regions, lasting peace in Dagbon Kingdom etc,” a statement signed by Razak Kojo Opoku, founder and president of the group, noted.
Appreciation
It has, therefore, called on Ghanaians to show their appreciation to President Akufo-Addo by giving him a second four-year term.
“The Chiefs and the good people of Dagbon Kingdom are very appreciative of the lasting peace and development they are enjoying under Akufo-Addo’s Presidency and as such they are obligated to show gratitude to Akufo-Addo and NPP Parliamentary Candidates by voting overwhelmingly for them.
“The Chiefs and the good people of Oti, Bono, Bono East, Western North, Ahafo, Savannah and North East need to show appreciation to the efforts and commitment of President Akufo-Addo in the creation of the six new regions,” the statement said.
It added: “Farmers, wives, children and family members of farmers who are beneficiaries of Akufo-Addo’s Planting for Food and Jobs, Rearing for Food and Jobs, Aquaculture for Food and Jobs, as well as all cocoa farmers are obligated to show massive appreciation to NPP Government by voting for President Akufo-Addo and NPP Parliamentary Candidates.”
“Communities and the good people who have directly and indirectly benefited from the 1 District 1 Warehouse, 1 Village 1 Dam and toilet facilities are mandated to show gratitude to President Akufo-Addo and NPP Parliamentary Candidates by voting for them.
“All NABCO beneficiaries are obligated to show gratitude by voting massively for President Akufo-Addo and NPP Parliamentary Candidates,” it added.
Desperate move
In a related development, CVM has said the hasty announcement by the NDC, yesterday, to give first year tertiary students free education, just at a time the Scholarships Secretariat was about to make its big announcement of free tuition fees for Free SHS graduates, is a “desperate move to salvage a sinking campaign”.
It said if the NDC seriously believes in the ‘Fa Ninyinaa’ policy, it would have come from their presidential candidate or the ruunning mate, and not the National Chairman.
“John Mahama or Prof Naana Opoku Agyeman do not want to be held accountable over the ‘Fa Ninyinaa’ policy in the unlikely event that the NDC wins, so they have pushed Ofosu Ampofo to issue that last minute propaganda policy just to throw dust into the eyes of Ghanaians thinking that Ghanaians have short memories.
“No amount of fabrications and last minute policy propaganda in the name of Fa Ninyinaa can salvage the sinking useless campaign of the failed incompetent John Dramani Mahama,” CVM said.
“John Mahama failed to provide Ghanaian children Free SHS Policy, and what is the guarantee that he can provide them Fa Ninyinaa?” it questioned.
“John Mahama’s campaign lacks merit and coordination. All the policies of Mahama are after-thoughts and such a character wants to be President again?
“The Free SHS graduates shall only believe in the words and statement put forward by the resourceful Scholarship Secretariat under President Akufo-Addo’s government and vote overwhelmingly for the New Patriotic Party,” it added.
