Christians worldwide celebrated this year’s Easter festival with joy to commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the son of God.

Churches in Akim Oda in the Eastern region of Ghana and its environs were not left out in this joyous celebrations.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Community Hospital Group, Alexander Akwasi Acquah, took the opportunity to present cheques of valuable amount of money to some churches in the Birim Central municipality. He also presented 300 banquet chairs valued at GH¢32,000.00 to the Akim Oda Central Assembly of the Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI).

This was in fulfillment of a pledge he made to the church, a couple of months ago during the church’s dedication of their Central Assembly.

During the presentation of the Chairs at the church service on resurrection Sunday, Mr. Akwasi Acquah said he could not find any better moment to redeem his pledge to the church, than a period where Christ sacrificed his life for humanity.

Promises

He said, our promises to God Almighty and mankind must be fulfilled without any hesitations, for we must always go by our promises without considering any factors. Once we pledge to offer something to someone, we should be able to fulfill it in order to receive more blessings from God.

He further advised politicians to fulfill their promises to God and mankind and also help their people without considering any political factors, for this has been his main secret why God keeps blessing him.
