Gifty Oware, Deputy Director

The Deputy Chief of Staff of Ghana, Mr. Francis Asenso-Boakye and the Deputy Chief Executive Director of the National Service Secretariat, Dr. Gifty Oware-Aboagye shall be speaking at this year’s Graduate Students Association of Ghana (GRASAG)’s Leadership, Management and Secretarial Skills Workshop scheduled to take place on Saturday 16th February, 2019.

The workshop which shall be held at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) is also expected to have the Minister of Youth and sports, Mr. Isaac Asiamah and Chief Executive officer Officer of Excellence Leadership group, Mr. Daniel Osei Tuffour as part of the speakers.

Other speakers include former GRASAG National President, Mr. Raymond Ayilu and the current GRASAG President Ms. Iris Kwafo-Mensah.

The conference which is divided into three sessions shall have the first session held under the theme “Secretarial, Office and Administration Management.” The Second session shall also be held under the theme “Effective Communication and Students Relational Strategy” while the third session shall be held under the theme “Team Cohesion and Conflict Management in Students and Youth Organisations.”

The conference shall be organised under the auspices of the General Secretary of GRASAG, Ms. Judith Arhin.

Speaking to the Evening Mail on preparations for the conference, Ms. Arhin, the General Secretary of GRASAG said all measures have been put in place to ensure a successful event.

She expressed optimism that the program shall be very successful.

She said, all things being equal, she hopes that the conference will start on time as planned and expect to have good number of students to attend the conference.

She used the opportunity to plead with all students especially Graduate students and students in activism and leadership to take advantage of the program to improve upon their level of knowledge.
