The executive secretary of the National Accreditation Board (NAB) and NPP parliamentary hopeful for the Kwadaso constituency, Dr Kingsley Nyarko, says the constituency is in dire need for a paradigm shift in order to achieve maximum growth in terms of development.
The NAB boss, who made these comments when he submitted his nomination forms to contest the Kwadaso parliamentary primaries, said for the past four years, things have fallen apart in the constituency.
According to him, the constituents need a visionary leader to lead them to bring love, unity and togetherness.
Clad in customised t-shirts and NPP paraphernalia, Dr Nyarko was joined by hundreds of party supporters as he submitted his forms to the NPP’s constituency office in Kwadaso, Kumasi.
No dirty campaign
Whilst assuring his supporters of his determination to unseat Kwadwo Nuamah, the incumbent MP, Mr Nyarko cautioned them to refrain from politics of insults, and rather engage in decent campaign.
According to him, typical of every contest, divisions are bound to occur but the most important thing is keeping the campaign decent.
“Division means everyone has interest and knowledge. I do not hate anyone; if you are not in my camp, I still love you because if I win, I’ll need everyone. I want to tell my supporters to be united and accord respect to the rank and file of the party as we work hard for victory,” he said.
Massive win
Dr Nyarko is of the belief that through hard work, miracle will manifest in the Kwadaso constituency for him to win massively.
He thanked the supporters, delegates and executives of the party for their support, saying their presence symbolises love and that he is happy they appreciate what he has done for the party over the years.
Receiving his nomination forms, Mr Joseph Osei Kwame, chairman of the election committee of the constituency, spoke on the behalf of constituency chairman, Mr Yaw Bona Boadi.
He urged Mr Nyarko to be civil in his campaign and desist from mudslinging and other abusive tactics.
