In a letter signed by Mr William Yamoah, the Secretary of the Election Review Committee on Sunday February 2, 2025, the committee clarified that only officially appointed members are authorized to undertake consultations related to the review process. The committee, chaired by Professor Mike Oquaye, emphasized that its designated members were currently engaged in nationwide consultations in collaboration with party members and key stakeholders.
The advisory comes as a response to growing concerns over unauthorized individuals and groups claiming to represent the committee and conducting surveys or engagements on their behalf. The committee has strongly urged party members to avoid interacting with any such parties.
