Some Ghanaians living in the United States of America have praised the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, for fulfilling his campaign promises and transforming lives in the country. The Ghanaians who gathered in front of the UN headquarters on Tuesday 17th September, chanted patriotic songs to hail the President for his good works.
They carried placards outlining some achievements of the Akufo-Addo administration such as the Nation Builders Corp (NABCO), the one Village one dam among others.
Speaking to the media, leader of the group said “President Akufo-Addo has fulfilled many of his campaign promises and has brought relief to many Ghanaians back home.”
“We are here to thank him and urge him on.” They said.
The President is in the USA for the United Nations General Assembly meeting. The meeting which started on Tuesday 17th September, 2019 is on the theme “Galvanizing multilateral efforts for poverty eradication, quality education, climate action and inclusion”.
