Webometrics (a research group that belongs to Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) and the largest public research body in Spain) Ranking of World Universities 2019 edition is out and University of Ghana, Legon has been rated first ahead of KNUST and UCC.
Even though University of Ghana, Legon has been adjudged the leading tertiary institution in the country; it is rated 19th in Africa and 1,447th position in the world.
According to report indicators that were used for the ranking were: Presence, Impact, Transparency and Excellence.
