The Akufo-Addo NPP government has donated 200 bags of cement to the Prestea-Himan Junior High School in the Western Region, in support of the school’s ongoing infrastructure development project.
The gesture is in line with government’s vision to improve existing infrastructure of all educational institutions in the country.
Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, the Western Regional Minister and Member of Parliament for Takoradi, donated the items to the school’s authorities and other stakeholders of the Prestea-Huni Valley municipality.
He said the government is very focussed on constructing new school infrastructure across the country and also improve on existing ones.
The Regional Minister described the developmental works on the Prestea Himan JHS as laudable, and urged all patriotic residents and non- resident citizens of the area, including the traditional authorities, to support prompt execution of the project.
