The National Women Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kate Gyamfua, has stressed the critical importance of rallying behind the NPP government to uphold and expand upon its women-centric initiatives initiated under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s leadership.

She made the call during the 9th/1st Biennial Delegates Conference of the Kumasi Diocese of Susanna Wesley Mission Auxiliary of the Methodist Church of Ghana.

Madam Gyamfua emphasised the transformative impact of the party’s policies on women empowerment and development across Ghana.

She highlighted President Akufo-Addo’s commitment to advancing women’s rights and opportunities. She noted that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is poised to continue this legacy with a bold vision for the nation’s future.

“Mama Kate,” as she is affectionately known, urged attendees to unite in support of the NPP, citing the party’s track record in fostering inclusive growth and empowerment.

She called for sustained efforts to ensure that women across the nation benefit from ongoing and future governmental initiatives.

She reiterated her confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s leadership, indicating that his vision for Ghana’s next chapter aligns closely with the aspirations of women and all citizens striving for progress and prosperity.
