Hon. Ebenezer Tetteh Kupualor, MCE for Yilo Krobo Municipality on has broken grounds for the construction of four different projects at Klo-Agogo SHS as part of government’s commitment to restore the lost glory of the school.

 

The Hon. MCE broke grounds for the construction of a boys and girls Dormitories as well as official residence for both senior housemaster and housemistress which aims at restoring the lost Boarding status of the school when completed.

 

Klo-Agogo SHS is currently also having a 12-Unit 2 storey classroom project ongoing steadily and also a bio-digestable 12 seater toilet facility which makes up the 6 Government intervention projects to uplift the status of the most deprived SHS in the entire Krobo Land area.

 

Hon. Ebenezer Tetteh Kupualor in his speech during the sod cutting ceremony appeal to the traditional leadership of in area to try and allocate lands for further developments of the school since the available land space of the school is fully occupied by the several ongoing projects and if care is not taken the school cannot further expend infrastructure wise.

 

The Hon. MCE assured the good people of Klo-Agogo and its surrounding communities of his maximum commitment to make sure they receive their fair share of the development cake as the Klo-Agogo Market is going to received about GHC 100,000.00 renovation project starting in weeks time to face lift the dying market which is due to infrastructure challenges.

 

He concluded by assuring the gathering that Klo-Agogo and its surrounding communities in the rural belt of his Municipality will be receiving 3.5 Kilometres of their roads reconstructed as they fair share of the 8.6 Kilometres roads allocation given to the Municipality as works will commence soon but with the support of the Assemblies dead grader that he has repaired and currently active, he will make sure some of their Rural roads receive reshaping soon.

 

Nene Odjeyem, Chief of Klo-Agogo in an interview expressed his heart felt appreciation to the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the Hon. MCE for listening to their cries as he pledged his maximum support to see this projects completed soon. He concluded by assuring the Hon. MCE that he will consult his leadership in the area as to how to assist make lands available for the future expansion of the only SHS in the area.
