Oyokodehye Kofi
The first edition of Oyokodehye Kofi’s Highlife Treat which took place on Saturday, August 21, saw an overwhelming crowd made up of the DJ’s fan-base.
The BMT Bar in Tema was the busiest field over the weekend.
The DJ, Eric Owusu Gyimah popularly known as Oyokodehye Kofi of Accra FM, who has won several awards to his credit including a three-time Best Highlife DJ at the Ghana DJs Awards, Tema Entertainment Awards, Ghana Entertainment Choice Awards, Foklex Media awards among others still looks forward to winning more and has promised his followers to expect more of this meet to greet treat annually.
Memorable
With major artistes supporting the treat, fans of the DJ received a delightful treatment and memorable experience.
Meanwhile, Oyokodehye pulled a surprise appearance on the stage when King Ayisoba mounted the stage.
The programme also saw highlife musicians like Pozo Hayes, Gye Nyame Kpanlogo Group among others perform to the cheering of the fans.
The program which started at 6:30pm saw fans dance through the night as they cheered the award winning highlife DJ and urged him not to close for the day.
Speaking to the media, some of the followers praised the multi award winning DJ to annually organise such Treats to bring them closer to him.
