The Municipal Chief Executive of the New Juabeng South Municipal Assembly , Isaac Appaw-Gyasi, has on 9th January, 2020 cut sod for the construction of a new three-storey office complex for the Assembly.
The office complex, when completed, will have 50 ultra-modern well furnished offices, 150-seater capacity Assembly Hall and 20-seater Conference Hall with disability friendly auxiliary facilities.

Decongestion
Mr. Appaw-Gyasi speaking at the sod cutting stated that the project will be completed by July 2020. He stated that the project when completed will decongest the current Assembly complex and solve the inadequacy office accommodation challenges the Municipality is faced with. He added that the construction of the edifice will be an avenue for temporary job creation for people in the Municipality.
Mr. Appaw-Gyasi charged the contractor for the project, TAW J. Company LTD, to expedite action to be able to finish within time scheduled to avoid cost overruns. He congratulated his predecessor for initiating the move for a new office complex.

Call for more
Nana Twumasi Dankwa, Gyasehene of New Juabeng Traditional Area, speaking on behalf of Daasebre Prof. Emeritus Oti Boateng, Omanhene of New Juabeng expressed his appreciation to the government for the project. He called on the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the MCE to take a look at other places in the Municipality that need urgent attention. He spoke about the dilapidated nature of the Municipal Education Office and urged the government to take another look at a new office complex in the premises of the education service which has been abandoned for over a decade.
