The recently commissioned modern Mother and Baby Unit of the St. Martin de Porres Hospital, Agormanya on Tuesday 2nd July, 2019 welcomed its first triplets.
Helena Apreku, 25 years and a trader from Agormanya in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality who is the mother delivered her 2 boys and a girl by SVD which is popularly called normal delivery. She already had a child before this successful delivery of the triplets.
The Maternity ward in charge at the St. Martin de Porres Hospital, Agormanya Mrs. Sarah Arthur on behalf of the facility presented some baby and mother items to the mother of the triplets this afternoon at the ward as both the mother and her babies are all doing well and they are due for discharge.
Helena Apreku, Mother of the triplets expressed her heart felt appreciation to the entire maternity unit and the St. Martin de Porres Hospital, Agormanya at large for the intensive care given to her before, during and after her safe delivery.
Our team had the opportunity to tour the beautiful New Mother and Baby Unit of the hospital after visiting the mother of the triplets and her babies.
