Network of Ideas
In a statement signed by Ms. Gyamfua, she stated that the conference “will serve as an avenue for the network of ideas and campaign strategy in the run-up to the General Elections in 2020.”
Activities
The National Women’s Organiser in this year has embarked on series of activities to ginger the women base of the party. She started with market visitation where she visited some key market centres in the country.
She then embarked on a nationwide tour to meet with constituency and regional women organisers of the party where she used the opportunity to address some of the challenges facing the women’s wing.
She also visited some international women’s wing branches of the party with some of her regional women organisers. Notable among the places she visited were the United Kingdom and Germany.
She then met with all female volunteer groups in the party to get them to synergise their energies in helping the party secure resounding victory in 2020.
Ms. Gyamfua then began nationwide women’s wing conferences which were held across all 16 regions in the country.
The November 28 to 29 Takoradi Conference will cement the series of activities embarked on by the women wing.
