The Late Rosemond Osaebea Mends

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is filled with deep sorrow as they gather to bid their final farewell to the late Takoradi Constituency Women’s Organiser, Mrs. Rosemond Osaebea Mends. The national women organiser of NPP, Kate Gyamfua, along with the women’s wing, NPP national leaders, and Takoradi Constituency Executives have extended an invitation to all NPP executives, members, and sympathizers to join in the funeral proceedings.

Mrs. Rosemond Osaebea Mends, who passed away recently, was a dedicated member of the NPP and served in multiple roles within the party. Prior to her tenure as the Takoradi Constituency Women’s Organiser, she had a remarkable track record of service, having served two terms as a Polling Station Women Organiser and one term as a Polling Station Chairperson. Her commitment and dedication to the party’s cause were evident in her previous positions.

After demonstrating her leadership and organizational skills, Mrs. Mends was appointed as the Deputy Women Organizer for one term, further solidifying her contribution to the party. Recognizing her exceptional abilities, she was subsequently elected as the Woman Organizer, serving two terms and leaving an indelible mark on the NPP and the Takoradi Constituency.

The final funeral rites to honor the late Mrs. Rosemond Osaebea Mends will be held on the following dates:

Friday, 7th July 2023: No Wake Keeping.

Saturday, 8th July 2023: The burial service will take place at the SIC park, situated off the GHAPOHA Hospital – Naval Base Road, commencing at 8am.

Sunday, 9th July 2023: A thanksgiving service will be held at the HOUSEHOLD OF FAVOUR CHAPEL, located adjacent to Ahenfie Hotel in Takoradi. Following the service, a refreshing gathering will be held at the Takoradi SIC Park, starting at 8:00 AM.

The NPP earnestly urges all members and sympathizers to honor the late Mrs. Rosemond Osaebea Mends by attending these solemn occasions and paying tribute to her remarkable life and service.

During this difficult time, the NPP and its Women’s Wing express their heartfelt appreciation for the support and condolences received.

The NPP family mourns the loss of a remarkable and influential member, Rosemond Osaebea Mends, whose remarkable contributions will forever be cherished and remembered.
